Frida Kusumastuti, M. Si
She was born in Batu, East Java. She is also a lecture of Communication Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) and Graduate Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). Her Bachelor degree (S1) was achieved from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, FISIP, Communication Studies Department; her Master degree (S2) was obtained from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) at Agriculture and Development Communication Study Program. She had taught Basics of Public Relations, Social and Development Communication, Sociology of Communication, PR Media and Writing, and PR Management. Her books are; Pengakuan Kepala Humas Indonesia (INDOPURELS, Malang 1994), Kegiatan-kegiatan Humas (UMM Press, Malang 1997), Dasar-dasar Humas (Ghalia Press, Bogor 2002), Hubungan Masyarakat (UT Press, Jakarta 2007), Hukum Media Massa (UT Press, Jakarta 2010). With her students, she initiated the founding of PR Club in 2006. The hobbies of this lively woman are ping-pong and watching movie. She is now living with her husband, Yusri Ponggosi Asrif, and her two sons Wildan R. Lazuardi and Ghulam R. Lazuardi in Dadaprejo Village, Batu City, East Java.

Nurudin, M. Si
He was born in Cepoko, Trirenggo, Bantul, Yogyakarta. He is the lecturer of Communication Studies (Ikom) Faculty of Social and Political Studies (FISIP), and Graduate Program of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). Besides as a lecturer, he is also an author, book editor, and writing trainer. Saat ini juga dipercaya sebagai Pemimpin Redaksi (Pemred) Koran Kampus Bestari dan Kepala Pusat Kajian Sosial pada kampus yang sama. Buku yang telah dihasilkannya antara lain ; Televisi Agama Baru Masyarakat Modern (UMM Press, Malang 1997), Menulis Artikel itu Gampang (Effhar, Semarang 2001), Komunikasi Propaganda (Remaja Rosdakarya, Bandung 2001), Pers Dalam Lipatan Kekuasaan (Tragedi Pers Tiga Zaman) (UMM Press, Malang 2003), Sistem Komunikasi Indonesia (Rajawali Press, Jakarta 2004), Pengantar Ilmu Komunikasi Massa (Rajawali Pers, Jakarta 2007), Hubungan Media, Konsep, dan Aplikasi (Rajawali Pers, Jakarta 2008), Kiat Meresensi Buku di Media Cetak (Murai Kencana, Jakarta 2009), and Dasar-Dasar Penulisan (UMM Press, Malang 2010). This lecturer's hobbies are badminton and watching football.

LECTURER OF COMMUNICATION STUDIES DEPARTMENT
Drs, Abdullah Masmuh, M.Si
He was born on December 16, 1967 in Lamongan. His education was started from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah of Muhammadiyah Lamongan. He then continued his education at Junior High School of Muhammadiyah 08 Lamongan. In addition, he continued his education again at Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 01 Tuban. In 1987, he continued for his higher education to the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), where in 1992 he obtained Bachelor title (Drs) from the Communication Studies Department, FISIP. Next, in 1995, he took Master Program Education in the same university and he got his Master in Science (M.Si) in 1998. Since 1993 until now, he has become a lecturer of Communication Studies Department FISIP UMM. This smilling lecturer has now become Vice Dean III (PD III) of the Faculty of Social and Political Science.
Budi Suprapto, M.Si
He was born in Karanganyar, May 25, 49 years ago. Having expertise in mass and political communication, this lecturer is now studying at Doctoral Program in Malaysia. He became the Dean of FISIP UMM in 2005 to 2010. Besides of serving as lecturer on Communication Studies UMM since 1987 until now, he had been the Chief of Radio TT 77, the Chief of Public Relation of UMM Press, and the Chief of Communication Studies Laboratory UMM.
Farid Rusman , Msi
He was born in Tulungagung 49 years ago. He graduated form elementary school in 1973, then he continued his study at SMPN 1 Tulungagung. He had decided not to go to school and to take a job for two years. He then continued to study at SMP Madya Utama and graduated in 1997. In addition, he continued his study at SMPP (SMAN 1) Tulungagung and graduated in 1988. His Master program was concentrated on Communication and Media Study at Graduate Program of the Airlangga University until 2007. Since the beginning of 1990, he has taught at Communication Studies FISIP University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) until now.

Himawan Sutanto, S.Sos
Since he was child, he has had a dream to be a famous painter (hoping to beat Affandi). Teaching is still a strange thing for him because it is very opposite of his ideal. He had taught Social Psychology, Cultural Theories, Socio-politic Theory, Social Marketing, Indonesian Culture Social System, and Communication Philosophy Ethics. Recently, this man who loves blue color is now completing his thesis of Graduate Program at Communication Studies, University of Indonesia (UI).

After finishing his undergraduate program study at Communication Studies University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) in 1998, in 2002 he decided to be a lecturer of Communication Studies UMM as a form of his devotion to UMM. Joko Susilo, M.Si
He was born in Sukoharjo Central Java on January 15, 1966. His Bachelor title was obtained from UMM in 1996 and his Master title was achieved from UI in 2001 with the specialization in Communication Management. His field of teaching focuses on marketing communication, communications studies, & research method. His scientific activity outside of teaching-learning proces in the campus is giving lecture on marketing communication and political marketing in various forums and areas. Besides, he also gives 'pengajian' based on culture and communication. Several things which become the sidelines of his activities among others are learning mocopatan, Javanese MC on wedding, and ‘nyrawungi’. In addition, he also becomes the Chief of RT in his residence. His daily task in campus is teaching not only at Communication Studies, but also at UMM Graduate Program. Besides, he is also a special staff of UMM PR. His other Tri Darmas are conducting several researches (including research on violence of post-Pilkada of Tuban) and service (such as mocopat as a learning media in elementary school).

Muslimin Machmud, M.Si
He was born in Ujung Pandang, South Sulawesi. He has become lecturer of Communication Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Studies since 1993. He pursued his Bachelor degree at Communication Studies Department of UNHAS Makassar and his Master degree at Development Administration Study Program PPS UNHAS. He is now studying for his Doctoral degree in Malaysia. he had taught Socail Statistics (S1/S2), Social Research Method, Quantitative Research Method (S2), Public Relation Personality (S1), Inter-cultural Communication (S1), and Basics of Public Relations (S1). He had visited several countries such as Saudi Arabia, Australia, Singapore, and Thailand. This smiling man experienced to serve structural position such as secretary of Communication Studies FISIP UMM (1998-2001), and chief of UMM Finance Bureau (2014-2008).
Nasrullah, M. Si
He is a permanent lecturer of Communication Studies FISIP UMM. Man who was born in Lamongan, January 31, 1973 has a wife and two daughters. During his study in Jakarta, he had taught at the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka (Uhamka) and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komunikasi Profesional Indonesia (STIKOM Prosia). He was also involved in researches with the Research and Mass Communication Development Institute (LPPKM) and Religion and Civilization Study Center (PSaP). Being active in the media literacy movement has delivered him to be involved in the founding of Jaringan Nasional Pemantau Media (JNPM) and to be the its administrator. His researches and community service activities were more devoted to the theme of media literacy. In 2010, he got Erasmus Mundus scholarship as a guest lecturer in Atilim University Ankara, Turkey. In Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah, he experienced of being the chief of science and technology department of IMM commissariat FISIP. In addition, he also became the Chief of Lembaga Publisitas dan Studi Informasi (LPSI) IMM Branch Leadership, IMM Central Leadership (DPP). Currently, he is listed in the Muhammadiyah Youth Regional Leadership of East Java and Pimpinan Daerah Pemuda Muhammadiyah of Malang City. Now, he is trusted as the Chief of UMM Public Relation and Protocol after previously being special staff in the same unit.

Novin Farid Setyo Wibowo, S. Sos
He became the best graduate of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang in 2006. This young lecturer specializes in the audio visual; fiction movie, documentary movie, and commercials. He is curentli active in various training on videography in East Java. Besides, he is also active in workshop and community empowerment facilitation about media literacy and video community through Video Talk program. He is now continuing his Master program study to explore media industry and culture in the University of Indonesia (UI).

Roziana Febrianita, S. Sos
She was born in Mojokerto, East Java. Lecturer who has just joined the Department of Communication Studies University of Muhammadiyah Malang ini, had experienced English Debate Competition conducted by ILF (International Language Forum) from inter-faculty to inter-university level when she was a student. Besides, she was also being involved in various organizations such as HIMAKOM, HMI and L’Iskra (an event organizer). After graduation, she decided to venture the capital city of Indonesia for 4 years and to have wide experience of work. She was born in Jombang 37 years ago. He pursued his Bachelor degree at Communication Studies Department UMM and MA degree in Curtin University of Technology, Australia. The lecturer who had been a Chief of Communication Studies Laboratory has many activities in audio visual world. He achieved his several informal educations from Basic Training of Program and Video Production (Puskat Yogyakarta), Advance Training of TV Program and Video Production (Puskat Yogyakarta), and Audio Visual & Multi Media Workshop (AKINDO Yogyakarta). This humorous lecturer is now living with his children and wife in Malang.

Widya Yutanti, S. Sos
She was born on January 21, 1978 in Mantingan Ngawi. She is a teaching staff at the Communication Studies Department Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). He was born in Blitar, March 3, 1975. He finished his elementary and junior high schools in the city of “RI proclamator”, Blitar. Meanwhile, he finished his senior high school at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) of Pondok Pesantren “Darul Ulum” Jombang. His Bachelor Degree was obtained from Communication Studies Department, Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP), University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) in 2000. Now, he becomes the teaching staff at Communication Studies Department UMM. Occasionally, he teaches at ACICIS Program and Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL) in Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). In the early 2009, he became one of the awardees of Australian Development Scholarship (ADS) for Master of Marketing Communication in one of the Australian universities.
