Graduates who have been equipped with various competencies such as basic skills in photography, audio visual, public relations, journalism and have been certified are also in great demand in various business and industrial sectors. To ensure that UMM Communication Science graduates are ready to enter the world of professional work, every prospective graduate is required to take a competency test in the field of communication. After passing the competency test, they will be given a competency certificate in the field of communication they are participating in. This Competency Test Certificate is valid nationally and issued by the state, in this case, the National Agency for Professional Certification (BNSP). This is evidenced by the study of data tracers and user tracers. Graduates of the Communication Science Study Programme also have an average waiting period to get a job of fewer than 6 months
